Not a fair comparison considering they are in completely different price points. 7800 xt is direct competitor to 4070, 7900 gre to 4070 super and 7900 xt to a 4070 ti super and 7900 xtx to 4080 super

the 3070 is more capable then this shows.. I ran RE4 on 1440p all maxed out with RT except texture quality was on medium instead of high, but it had no problems. Was definitely maxing out the Vram but it hung around 60fps sometimes even 80fps. (I do run a heavy OC) The GPU in this video was only at 96-98% utilization so there was definitely room to bump up quality

Wow, never knew 69xt was so close to TiS, plus cooler?? I thought 4070 series were the best for power efficiency and temps but I guess the Ti and TiS aren’t as efficient as the super haha. Also, the CPU is hotter with the TiS? So RT and DLSS aside, 69xt is cheaper and cooler 👌💯 crazy how it’s a gen behind too lol, people sleeping on it

Here’s my only problem with testing like this. A lot of these games are just running around in the open world and there’s not much going on. I could play some games like that but then when it gets intensive and you lose 50 to 90% of the FPS, it’s a big difference.

That card is great, and correct me if i'm wrong, but as i could see you didn't even overclocked the Memory of the card with the new drivers, right? That can get up to +15% increase in FPS which is a HUGE deal. That is the perfect budget card for 4K gaming.

I have a 4070TI Super but on 1440p w/ RT+DLSS+Frame generation on I only get about 90 fps with max graphics. Am I possibly doing something wrong ? (On cyberpunk btw)

So basically is THE SAME . Most titles benefit about 1-5 FPS the use of PCIE 4.0 (curious Alan Wake II and ACMirage run even a litt better in PCI 3.0 😅) Interesting. Thanks for test!

after undervolting the 7900 GRE you can get like 10 - 15 more FPS , also do the undervolting on your CPU as well and it will also give like 5 - 7 FPS more , so in total you can extract around 20 FPS more if you do everything properly + you can turn on FSR 3.1 + Frame Generation and get almost 20 - 30 FPS more . I am talking about 4K only .

Anybody with a 6900xt or 6950xt are set for sure still. Tbh I was very surpeised with amd launch this generation they got alot of slack yet then they come out with the 7900xtx and it's like wow ok wasn't actually to bad. 7900xtx has far exceeded my expectations from what I've seen. I still did in fact go with nvidia the strix 4080 super but I've found myslef mostly gaming in native 4k. So I would have been very happy with the 7900xtx. Never know, maybe next generation I do it. But amd needs to get there pasting under control. Way to many people buy and need to repaste due to hotspots and temps. That I would not want to do. I do not open gpus nor should I have to unless I'm doing a custom loop. I can deal with bugs or little driver issues my big thing is temps. I even don't over spec my cpu because of temps. I like my room staying comfortable also lol. Right now my 4080 super gets to 61c that's it and my cpu gets to around 60c tops. All air cooled I'm simplistic and don't over fan my systems. People use to many fans thinking it helps it doesn't. I'm using a lian li air mini with only 3 of the base black fans and those are my temps. Lol direction matters most straight in and straight out is key.

got teribble fps and stuttering while playing spiderman-remastered on 6500xt, curently i'm using amd driver 24.5.1, i don't know why it's stutter and fps drop but when i'm using the rx 580 2048sp the fps was normal and no stuttering, if you guys know how to fix it let me know!
